You might want to forward this to slowtwitch, I think they would have a good time reposting it on their site. 

Lame all the way around.  Seriously, who hasn&#039;t had a water bottle fly off their bike in the middle of a race?

This just sounds like a lack of professionalism from the race (poorly designed and set up transition) and the officiating (just poor all the way around). 

Can&#039;t you protest the result afterwards?    

I forget, can you continue on in the race when you&#039;ve gotten those penalties like the PR fellow, and then protest afterwards.  I know in some sports you can do that (track for one).]]></description>
