I swam in Rhode Island with jellyfish last year, I kept thinking they were going to get into my wetsuit, but apparently only the woman’s wave saw them.

yeah i don’t know about jellyfish. i can’t believe you kept swimming, that is amazing. ha and in my case i would have gotten twice as many stings as you after being in the water twice as long . i think i will cross NYC off of the bottom of my list of races that i am fairly moderately mostly disinterested in doing and move it to the no fricking way list, right below dallas, clearwater, and anything involving billion dollar entry fees and 12 transitions, not that that’s possible but still.

i remember portugese man o’wars from some island in my childhood, perhaps oahu? those are serious little beasts.

Solid Effort. Growing up in CT the humidity can really get to you… sounds like you held up quite well though.

And I agree with Loren beating Potts out of the water absolutely should have been noted.
